Many, many years ago when I first joined Etsy and sold wares at my first show I discovered that my name (while unusual) was too hard for people to remember, so I simplified and began 2 Dog Studios. I have an extensive history of working with animals in need, and during that time I had two rescue dogs of my own, A sweet, but protective Bullmastiff named Cecelia and a lovable, and goofy pitbull-mix named Howie. Both dogs came from horrible circumstances, and if it hadn't been for the life-saving health care and socialization from their foster families they never would have become the wonderful companion and therapy dogs that they were.
While my pups have crossed the rainbow bridge (cancer sucks), they forever changed my life. It is in their honor and cherished memories that I donate a portion of all sales and royalties to agencies that help animals in need.
